Sight Words
Here you will find our vocabulary lists and resources for each story included in our Scott Foresman reading series.  Sight words are words that your child should be able to read by sight not by sounding them out. Each week your child will be introduced to 5 new sight words (tested vocabulary) and several challenge words.  Your child will practice these words daily and will refer to them often once they are on our class Word Wall. I also included additional lists of sights words for practice.

Here are some tips for practicing your words:

Review flashcards daily.

Make sentences using your flashcards.

Play bingo using your words.

Play match up.
