Please make sure your
child attends school every day if they are able to. Your child's
presence is an essential component for academic and social growth. |

|
Backpacks |
Please have your child
bring their backpacks to school every day. In addition, when
you are selecting a backpack, please keep in mind our small cubbies. |
|
Behavior Management |
I believe that positive reinforcement encourages good behavior and
good behavior promotes an optimum learning environment. I
enjoy recognizing the children in my class who are making good choices
and are eager to follow their class rules.
I have designed a plan
that focuses on the children individually (behavior cards), in a team
(team tallies) as well as, whole class (popcorn jar).
The children also learn how to make decisions when it comes time
to selecting a reward. Some of the rewards have been:
Movie
Free Time
Lunch with the teacher :-)
Disco Party
However, if the rules are not followed then their are
consequences that take place. Please discuss with your child
the importance of following the class rules. |
|
Birthdays |
Your child’s special day
